VERT - a Veritable Elevated Road Train 

 

VERT an intercity transport solution for California. It carries your family, your car and anything else you can fit into your car from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back at 200 mph. The 800 mile drive will no longer tax you and your car. You no longer have to worry about gasoline, ware and tare and safety.

 

Onboard VERT, you and your family will enjoy a stress-free and scenic journey high above the interstate and congestion. Put your feet up and read a book or grab a donut and coffee and relax, VERT will take you the distance. While you are traveling at

over 200 MPH you can feel safe that your family will arrive in no time while your car rides along with you.

 

VERT is faster than by train and will make the LA to SF trip in under two hours. Compared to air travels’ time of 3 hours considering check in times, TSA and parking. To make the smoothest ride VERT was inspired by snake skeletons in construction and function. Like a snakes spine, segments are joined by a rubber bush.

 

 

This is what I would like in a design studio.

 I often fantacise about a perfect design studio. I like a lot of tech and screens to keep me multi tasking, so a ships bridge would be pretty cool. But complemented with some nature.

 

GM Exterior Lighting

Using exterior lighting as a brand differentiator I chose GMC for this GM sponsored project.

VERT (Vertically Elevated Rapid Transport)

Here is my thesis design. Its a mass transport device that works alongide the U.S. interstate highway system. 

You can take your personal transport with you whether it is your car or your bicycle. So while en-transit you can stay in the comforts of your car or go to the upper viewing deck for more room and eminities.

 

The upper deck is like a market street with shops, entertainment and seating.

Jeep Cohort - Rethinking the minivan interior

 

 

 

In rethinking a minivan interior, I thought Jeep could break new ground in creating the first off-road minivan.

Interior Freakzone
An Interior sketch showcasing new technologies like: "Daylight night windscreen" Allows driver to see as well at night as in the day. Actually, driver sees better at night then at day due to glowing and illuminated visual driver aids. Other innovations include new type of steering wheel adjustment mechanisms. Superimposed 3D compass and angle indicator shows more then NSEW, also shows angles that vehicle is currently in while off-road. Shifter on right of driver is acually an additional accelerator to more finely control speed of vehicle in off road situations (dont worry, steering is not impaired.)

GMC- 4GO

A vehicle that drives like a Vette but climbs like a CJ. This is a vehicle that opens up blue oceans for GMC. An off-road sports car.
